International Health Certificates for Dogs and Cats Dallas Texas

In order to move a pet internationally you will need a USDA Accredited Veterinarian to examine your dog or cat and complete some export health documents including the USDA APHIS 7001 UNITED STATES INTERSTATE AND INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF HEALTH EXAMINATION FOR SMALL ANIMALS in addition to some other paperwork that is country specific.

International Health Certificate for Dogs and Cats

For your international health certificate appointment note the following:

  • For pets in the DFW Dallas Fort Worth International Airport area we try to schedule international health certificate appointments for about 7 days before travel for most destinations. This allows enough time to get documents endorsed by the USDA and also gives a little flexibility in day of travel as these documents are only valid for 10 days in most cases. This will vary for some countries.
  • We can easily handle the USDA endorsement of your export health documents for you. We try to make this process as easy as we can.
  • For your appointment you will need to bring:
    • Your Pet
    • Original Rabies certificate signed in blue ink (signature stamps are generally not accepted by foreign countries for import). We will handle this if your pet was vaccinated with us
    • Additional vaccination and test results if required by the destination country
    • Address and Phone number in the United States
    • Address and Phone number in the destination country
  • Please request an appointment for international health certificates on our Health Certificate Request page

Dr. David Landers DVM is a USDA accredited veterinarian for international health certificates, domestic health certificates, and other travel / export documents and can take care of all pre-transport testing needs as well.
